A week in Paris

Last week I travelled to Paris for work.  Most of the week was spent inside a conference room but I managed to sneak a few hours last Friday afternoon to walk around this most gorgeous city.  The photos were taken on my iPhone but hopefully they still capture the beauty of this city.

September is a great time to visit Paris.  Most of the tourists have gone and the weather is still lovely and mild. I hope to visit Paris one day on a holiday rather than for work.  Maybe one day :).

While I was away there was a delivery of a Japanese cross stitch book called “A to Z” that I had ordered.  Inside I found a cute cross stitch chart for the Eifel Tower which I quickly stitched last night.  It took me about half an hour to stitch. The book contains an alphabet of letters.  It’s a gorgeous book with the most beautiful photographs and charts.  You will be able to buy it shortly from the Gingham Red Store.  I will profile more charts from the book later this week.  In the meantime I hope you enjoy these images of Paris.

Isn’t the bulldog just gorgeous ?  It’s my favourite picture of Paris.  He was so enjoying his bowl of water and was probably not aware of the fact that he was drinking in one of the most beautiful parks in the world.  Lucky dog !

Have a fabulous week and see you soon !
