Welcome to Monday! The start of a busy week with most people going back to work after the Christmas and New Year break.
Todays’ watercolor is more of an experiment. and is copied from an image in the wonderful book called “The Vintage Tea Party book”. While not the best watercolor painting every produced I do like the colors in the teapot and the eye on the bird.
What I learnt from painting this watercolor;
- Proportions – I need to work on scale and proportions. The bird is too small compared to the size of the teapot.
- Paint strokes – Each paint stroke is important and this is obvious from the paint strokes on the teapot which are not quite right.
See you tomorrow!
