Cardboard Floss Cards

Another beautiful Sunday.  Spending the weekend cleaning out my DMC cotton floss stash. It’s nice to have my embroidery cottons in order rather than scattered loosely in a plastic bag at the bottom of my wardrobe.

You can easily store your cotton floss by purchasing cardboard floss cards from your local craft store.  You can buy a pack of 50 cards for around $2 to $3.

It’s quite easy to make your own cardboard floss cards, but it’s time consuming and the result is not as neat as the bought cards.  You wind your cotton floss neatly around each floss card and store in special plastic containers which are available from your local craft store. Best of all the plastic containers store away neatly.
