Did you know Christmas is only a few weeks away? Once again it’s a mad rush to get ready. Why does Christmas come around to quickly each and every year?
If you are making gifts by hand then its time to finish things off sooner rather than later. One idea which I shared with you last year on the blog was cross stitch Christmas gift tags. The post also included instructions on how to make a cross stitch gift tag. The tags are a quick and easy way to make a store bought gift a little more special.
This year I share with you three very simply cross stitch trees in vibrant green, yellow and red which you could quickly stitch in time for Christmas. These little trees should take you less than half an hour to stitch and will brighten up any present. They will look best with plain gift wrapping in either white, brown or even gold.
To use the chart just click on the image and open it in a new tab on your computer. You can print the page off on your printer. You can choose any colours you like. I have used DMC Red – 666, Green – 910 and Yellow – 973.
In the meantime I am spending the afternoon with a cup of tea, some cross stitch surrounded by glorious Hydrangeas growing in the garden.
Enjoy your weekend!
