Nearly Halloween time

It’s nearly time for my friends in the US to celebrate Halloween again. That time of year always comes around so quickly. It’s also strange to think the US and Europe are celebrating the arrival of Autumn or Fall when we are celebrating the beginning of a new spring.

The garden is bursting forth with seaside daisies. They are so sweet and cheerful but can be known to grow wildly all over your garden so take care with these sweet plants.

To celebrate Halloween I created a really quick and easy Halloween Pumpkin for the kids to stitch in time for Halloween. This chart is ideal for the beginner cross stitcher and can be stitched in less than an hour. While the design uses 28 count Zweigart Linen you might like to use 14 count Aida for the kids. Aida has a gorgeous range of colors to choose from and stitching the pumpkin on black Aida would look great. The pumpkin and the word “Boo!” is stitching using DMC cotton floss. Details for this cross stitch are below.  Enjoy!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend !
