Posting every day for NaBloPoMo

I woke up this morning and was thrilled to find that my blog had been added to the blog roll for National Blog Posting Month.

I found out about NaBloPoMo on Blog.her from Barb on her beautiful and inspirational blog “Keeping with the Times“.  I met Barb through instagram when I came across her beautiful, dreamy photos. Barb is a blogger, still life and food photographer. Her passions include photography, photo editing,  gardening, floral design, cooking/baking, and living a full life. Barb is also a digital scrapbooking enthusiast with over 6 years experience and was an instructor at Digital Scrapper, where  she wrote and recorded video tutorials using both Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.

I love Barb’s photographs and she inspires me to keep improving my photography.  There is so much light in her images.  Here are a few of my favorite photographs from her still life photo gallery. There were so many gorgeous photos to choose from it was hard to pick just three.

National Blog Posting Month started in 2006 and is “one big blogging party meant to give you enough energy, ideas and inspiration to supercharge your blogging mojo and carry you through the next 12 months”.  By joining in you have to commit to blogging every single day.  It’s also about discovering other bloggers and building a community.

So this month I am committing to:

  • Blogging every day even if it is a short post with a photo and a comment.
  • Visiting other blogs on the NaBloPoMo blog roll to provide comments and support
  • Participating on Blog.her as much as I can during November
  • Enjoying the challenge of blogging every day for a month even if it’s sometimes difficult

I’ll be back tomorrow to share a little more of my garden with you.
