The summer Hydrangeas continue to bloom despite the hot dry weather we’ve been having. They are magnificent this year due to the winter rains and warmer spring. The pastel blue and pink Hydrangea are irresistible in the vase on the kitchen table.
The blue and pink tinge of the white hydrangea depends on the acidity of the soil. The more alkaline your soil the more likely you will have pink Hydrangeas. The more acidic your soil the more likely the Hydrangeas will turn blue. Whatever color your Hydrangea is there is no doubting this old fashioned flower is a lovely and spectacular addition to any garden.
Enjoy your week!
