It’s been a few weeks since I last said hello and posted a blog. The excuse has been the celebration of three birthdays in the family in the one month including my own. Over the weekend I did manage to create a new mini cross stitch chart and made a new needlebook to share with you.
You can never have too many needlebooks in your sewing room… right? It’s great to have more than one needlebook because you can store different needles in each book. I use one needlebook for my tapestry needles and this one will be used for some of my sewing needles.
The mini cross stitch chart celebrates the sweet pink cyclamens growing in my garden. Stitched with DMC cotton in 5 colors on 32 count Linen it can be stitched in no time at all. I chose light Purple, dark Purple, Green, Silver and Pink but you can decide to try any other colors you fancy.
Once stitched the finished cross stitch is sewn onto bright, Green cotton fabric and features bright pink gingham on the inside of the needlebook. A bright green ribbon works as the closure for the book.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your week!
