Where did November go ?

Dear Friends

Where did November go ?  How quickly does this time of the year pass!

Did you have a good month?  Are you feeling fabulous and getting ready for all the celebrations in a few weeks?

My life has been a little stressful this month but I refuse to to give into it. No matter how stressed I get or who upsets me at work I always remember to be thankful and grateful for all the lovely and fabulous things in my life. One of the things I am grateful for is the blog and being able to share beautiful photos and stitching ideas with you.  Of course I am always grateful for my beautiful family and friends.

Thank goodness also gingham fabric, cross stitch and flowers.  This month the roses and hydrangeas bloomed in our garden.  It’s the most lovely time of the year.

In the stitching area November was a month to continue my love affair with red and white and green and white gingham fabric and the use of waste canvas to cross stitch crafty things for the house.

Why gingham fabrics ?  Because I have loved them since I was a child.  I love how fresh and vibrant they are and how they can cheer up any space in any home.  I especially like creating useful items for the house by using plan fabric and cross stitch with the help of canvas.  The Christmas napkin and Home Sweet Home table runner are great examples.

How did you go stitching the free Christmas charts?  Have you completed them yet?  There is still time…..

December will be mad as usual but there is still time to stitch a few gifts for Christmas.  There are a few things to share with you in the next few weeks so please come by and say hello!

Take care and see you soon.
